Spencer Fane was recently featured on the Ingram’s Magazine Corporate Report 100 (CR100) as one of Kansas City’s fastest-growing companies in 2021. The CR100 is a rigorously researched and complied list that shows the financial performance of local businesses based on the average annual growth rate from 2017-2020.
This is the second year Spencer Fane has been included on the CR100, jumping up in the rankings by 29 spots from last year. The firm has reported double digit growth in revenue seven out of the last eight years, and remains strategic in its measured growth into new markets.
Pat Whalen explained in a recent interview for Law 360 that the firm’s growth can be credited to “a combination of both client-facing attributes and talent-facing attributes…It’s a range of factors that provide a really nice value proposition for attorneys who are comparing firms and have options to go to just about any firm they want.” Those attributes include a strong firm culture centered on collaboration, humility, and a dedication to client service.
