Spencer Fane is pleased to announce being honored in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms, which recognized the firm for achieving high marks in a six-factor analysis scored by an independent expert panel.
On a five-point scale, Spencer Fane earned perfect 5s in three out of six of U.S. News’ individual metrics, including Work Life Balance, Comfort, and Belongingness, a testament to the firm’s push for strong cultural values led by diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
U.S News Managing Editor of Money Susannah Snider described the metrics used as “an ‘Employee’s Hierarchy of Needs,’” further explaining, “Employees typically want to work at a company that cultivates a sense of belonging, stability, and upward mobility.”
Following the firm’s 2023 shortlisting by The American Lawyer for Law Firm of the Year, Spencer Fane Chair Pat Whalen noted, “Our work is not done in terms of how we intend to disrupt the traditional law firm business model.”
