Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Travis Armstrong joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group as an of counsel attorney in the firm’s Houston office.
Travis provides thorough and innovative representation through the full cycle of commercial litigation, always with the aim of obtaining results that align with clients’ unique business goals. Travis focuses his practice on appellate law, navigating the procedural pitfalls of litigation to ensure that clients are in the best possible position to protect their trial victories and undo their trial defeats. Consistent with his practice, Travis has a passion for legal research and writing, serving clients with lucid, erudite, and above all persuasive written advocacy. However, Travis is no stranger to the courtroom, and he brings a curated track record of trial success in commercial, insurance, employment, and personal injury matters.

Travis completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and later earned his Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law. Prior to entering private practice, he completed a clerkship for the Hon. Marcia Crone in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and an internship with the Hon. David Hittner in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
