As strategic growth at Spencer Fane takes the firm into new markets to aligning its practice with clients’ expanding business needs, the firm has continued to capture the attention of national legal media that track movement among the largest law firms in the nation.
The National Law Journal recently published its 2023 NLJ 500 rankings, which ranked Spencer Fane as #118 based on headcount, a 21-spot jump in the annual list. This represents the firm’s largest jump since 2020.
Similarly, Law360 published its 2023 Law360 400 ranking of largest law firms by headcount. The firm ranked #117 this year, moving up more than five spots from 2022 and 40 from the firm’s first appearance in 2020.
Earlier this year, Spencer Fane maintained its pace as the fastest-growing law firm on Am Law 200; the firm has marked the largest percentage revenue increase of any firm on the ranking over the last five-year period.
