Spencer Fane is excited to announce it is now accepting applicants for its 2025 Charitable Grant Program in Kansas City.
The Spencer Fane Charitable Grant Program supports Kansas City-based nonprofit arts organizations through a $50,000 donation paid in installments over the course of three years. The program is rotational, with one new recipient entering each year as a previously selected organization exits upon completion of its three-year cycle.
The primary goal of the program is to provide necessary financial assistance to deserving organizations while fostering strong and impactful community relationships. Simultaneously, Spencer Fane hopes to promote involvement among employees and encourage long-standing relationships which mutually benefit causes close to the firm and the selected organizations.
To be considered as a 2025 applicant, an organization must:
- Have a strong focus on the arts in Kansas City and a positive, community-driven mission;
- Have a financial need for the funds which the grant will significantly impact; and
- Preferably offer the firm and its employees unique and creative ways to become involved.
Current and past recipients include The Coterie, Band of Angels, The Folly Theater, Midwest Music Foundation, Charlotte Street Foundation, Crossroads Preparatory Academy, Lyric Opera Kansas City, Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, ArtsKC-Regional Arts Council, and Kansas City Art Institute.
