Spencer Fane Adds Amanda Barron to Tax, Trusts, & Estates Bench in Omaha

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Amanda Barron joined the Tax, Trusts, & Estates Practice Group as an of counsel attorney in the firm’s Omaha office.

After founding and growing a solo practitioner practice, Amanda brings proven experience guiding clients to the successful structuring of business transactions and arrangement of personal finances, allowing them to meet desired tax objectives and long-term estate planning goals. She utilizes the full spectrum of options to create unique solutions that satisfy immediate needs while reducing taxes and protecting wealth for future generations.

Amanda represents individuals and businesses in a variety of industries, including health care, retail, wholesale, real estate, construction, professional services, transportation, financial services, and energy. She brings a thorough understanding of the complexities involved with the ownership, transfer, and taxation of assets associated with closely held private businesses, corporations, executives, entrepreneurs, families, and individuals that have generated or inherited wealth.

In addition, Amanda regularly handles the full life cycle of related trust and estate litigation, developing a track record of success in disputes involving individuals, families, corporate fiduciaries, nonprofit organizations, beneficiaries, executors, and administrators that can arise in the context of administrative matters.

Outside of tax, trusts, and estates work, Amanda also has experience in business planning, antitrust matters, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, data privacy and information security, commercial real estate, civil complex litigation, and employment law. She completed her undergraduate studies in business administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and went on to earn her Juris Doctor at the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
