Spencer Fane attorney Scott Goldstein was recently interviewed for the Kansas City Business Journal on the current economic climate and options businesses may have when filing bankruptcy.
In the article, “This is what we need to stave off bankruptcy ‘domino effect,’” Scott explains that creditors and debtors should avoid a chain reaction.
“Everyone needs to be kinder and gentler in how they deal with things from a business standpoint and have empathy for each other,” Scott said. “This is like a concentric circle. People are asking to be paid, and the reason is they need to pay their creditors and they’re not able to, and so on.”
