Spencer Fane attorney Sam McAllester was pleased to represent the firm at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville’s dedication ceremony for new Habitat homeowner Latisha Burns on August 27. Earlier this summer, Sam and several other Spencer Fane professionals assisted in the build and sponsorship of Latisha’s house.
Spencer Fane was proud to help Latisha achieve homeownership, a goal that she noted in her Habitat profile lets her “know anything is possible” and provides a good “start in life for [her] son.” The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting and community celebration with Latisha, her family and friends, Habitat for Humanity, and the project’s sponsors. On behalf of the firm, Latisha was presented with $500 in gift cards.
At Spencer Fane, Sam represents banks, financial institutions, and other lenders in the negotiation and structure of credit facilities secured by all forms of collateral and prepares all necessary loan documentation to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions. He has also been deeply involved with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville for over a decade. Serving in multiple leadership positions within the organization, he is currently a board member, treasurer, Executive Committee member, and Finance Committee chairman.
