Spencer Fane attorney Randi Winter spoke at the PayrollOrg (PAYO) NorthStar Chapter’s 36th Annual Statewide Payroll Conference on October 6 in Bloomington, Minnesota.
During her presentation – Riding the Wild 2023 Rollercoaster of Evolving Payroll, Deduction, and Wage Law Compliance – Randi discussed important, recent legal developments in labor and employment. Topics included recent and anticipated changes to state and federal laws, nationwide trends in pay transparency regulations, strategies for navigating permissible deduction governance, developments in wage and hour law litigation, and current labor law considerations for payroll professionals.
