Spencer Fane attorneys Mike McCann and Pete Mirakian were recently featured in Missouri Lawyers Media (MLM) after being named to the publication’s POWER List for Mergers & Acquisitions for the second consecutive year. The publication’s annual POWER rankings honor top attorneys in Missouri who “lead and influence various parts of the Missouri legal community” with exceptional work within their respective practice areas.
Mike’s feature highlights his role as Chair for both the Corporate and Business Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups at Spencer Fane, as well as his representation of Kansas City-founded Boulevard Brewing Company in its sale to Belgium-based Duvel Moortgat. Within his extensive practice, Mike represents clients in a wide variety of industries both as outside general counsel and in connection with M&A transactions.
In addition to M&A transactions, Pete focuses his practice on corporate governance, securities, and tax law. MLM emphasized his impressive domestic and international client reach for representation of complex transactions as well as his position as Chair of the Spencer Fane Opinion Committee, where he oversees the firm’s third-party legal opinion practice.
