Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Stacy Harper as one of Missouri Lawyers Media (MLM)’s 2026 KC Legal Leaders.
This distinction highlights attorneys and legal professionals who have built a reputation of “leadership, innovation, professional excellence, and meaningful contributions” throughout the Kansas City legal community. Recognized in the Health Care/Life Sciences category, Stacy earned this honor for her firm leadership, multifaceted legal practice, and community stewardship.
She and her fellow honorees were formally celebrated at MLM’s August 20 awards luncheon at The Maverick and individually profiled by the publication.
At Spencer Fane, Stacy chairs both the Health Care and Cyber | Data | Artificial Intelligence | Emerging Technology practice groups. In her practice, she counsels organizations on regulatory compliance, health care reimbursement, and data privacy and cybersecurity issues. Stacy’s unique background as a certified professional coder and compliance officer provides her with firsthand knowledge of the legal and practical requirements faced by health care organizations.
Stacy also serves on the leadership committee for Spencer Fane+, the firm’s connect group for LGBTQIA+ professionals and allies. In this role, she works in tandem with other Spencer Fane leadership to create initiatives that promote connection and advance equality, acceptance, and justice.
