Spencer Fane attorney Karen Olson was a featured speaker at the Minnesota Soil Health Coalition’s 2024 Premier Soil Health Event, a December 3-4 conference hosted in Mankato, Minnesota.
Created for farmers, by farmers, the event gathers local, national, and regional soil health experts to provide farmers and ranchers with valuable information to improve their operation. Karen co-led her session, Current State of WOTUS and Implications for Managing Water and Nutrients, alongside Geosyntec Consultants’ Todd DeJournett – a frequent Spencer Fane collaborator. The presentation explored the complexities of Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) and how they impact the agricultural sector.
At the firm, Karen – a former Deputy Attorney General for the state of Minnesota – is an experienced regulatory, compliance, and litigation attorney.
