Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Sam McAllester received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee State Conference on July 27.
This honor underscores Sam’s decadeslong commitment to the organization. For more than 15 years, he has been a trusted leader and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville, serving in key board and committee roles while generously harnessing his legal and business knowledge to support the organization’s growth. His dedication likewise extends statewide through volunteerism, sponsorships, and advocacy efforts that have helped advance Habitat’s mission across Tennessee.
Sam – noted by his Habitat colleagues as “not only a ‘doer’ but also a teacher and a mentor” – has likewise leveraged the firm’s passion for community stewardship to amplify the nonprofit’s efforts and impact. From hosting the annual Habitat Tennessee legislative reception to spearheading annual volunteer build days for the Spencer Fane Nashville office, he has created meaningful opportunities for the firm and its professionals to support Habitat’s mission.
At Spencer Fane, Sam represents banks, financial institutions, and other lenders in the negotiation and structure of credit facilities secured by all forms of collateral and prepares all necessary loan documentation to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions.
In addition, he has held multiple leadership positions within Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville. These include advisory council member, finance committee member, chairman and treasurer of finance committee, board member, executive committee and vice chair, chair and past chair of board.
