Spencer Fane attorneys DJ Pierre and Brian Bear recently authored an article for Ingram’s magazine providing insight into the environment for development in Kansas City.
Titled “Development Incentives in the Time of COVID,” DJ and Brian looked at how the pandemic has not slowed local or state economic development levels and how developers should continue to explore all available options. Incentives remain available to those continuing important projects.
“COVID has not prevented those economic development entities from meeting regularly and recommending innovative projects for incentives,” DJ and Brian wrote. “City Hall continues to also meet and approve projects that fit the needs and priorities of the city.”
