Daniel Chung Joins APABA Silicon Valley Colleagues for Asian Law Alliance Honor

April 2, 2024

Spencer Fane attorney Daniel Chung attended the Asian Law Alliance (ALA) 47th Anniversary Dinner on March 14 in Santa Clara, California, alongside his fellow members of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley (APABA Silicon Valley). The organization was recognized at the event as part of the ALA’s 2024 honorees.

Asian Law Alliance is a nonprofit organization providing equal access to the justice system for Asian Pacific Islander and low-income populations in the Silicon Valley. Through providing legal counseling, community education and community organizing, the ALA strives to promote self-sufficiency, self-reliance, and a better quality of life for all. Every year, their anniversary dinner celebrates the community leaders who increase the impact of ALA programs and services.

APABA Silicon Valley, of which Daniel is a member and Co-Chair of its Social & Community Committee, was distinguished as this year’s ALA Business Impact Honoree. Representatives from the organization joined hundreds of local attorneys and professionals for a fun evening at the Santa Clara Convention Center that included an awards ceremony, dinner and cocktails, and a silent auction.

At Spencer Fane, Daniel helps clients through all stages of litigation. A former criminal prosecutor in New York City and Silicon Valley, Daniel knows how to navigate high-stakes investigations, cases, motions, hearings, and trials. He has completed many jury trials and bench trials and received the Robert L. Webb Award in 2020 for excellence in trial advocacy.
