Daniel Chung Celebrates the Lunar New Year at Stanford Law School

February 12, 2024

Spencer Fane attorney Daniel Chung attended Stanford Law School’s Lunar New Year Gala on January 26 alongside the students he mentors.

The event, hosted by the school’s Asian and Pacific Islander Law Students Association (APILSA), is an annual celebration that includes a cocktail and networking reception, dinner, and a student-led conversation with a keynote speaker. This year’s gala served as a kickoff for the Year of the Dragon – which officially began on February 10 – and featured a conversation with California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin Liu.

Daniel enjoyed the event alongside his Stanford Law School mentees. As leader of the Korean American Bar Association of Northern California (KABANC) mentorship program, Daniel provides support and guidance not just to students at Stanford but to other law school attendees throughout the San Francisco Bay area.

At Spencer Fane, Daniel helps clients through all stages of litigation. A former criminal prosecutor in New York City and Silicon Valley, Daniel knows how to navigate high-stakes investigations, cases, motions, hearings, and trials. He has completed many jury trials and bench trials and received the Robert L. Webb Award in 2020 for excellence in trial advocacy.
