Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Dane Martin has joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group as a partner in the firm’s Kansas City office.
Dane concentrates his practice on high-stakes commercial litigation and governmental disputes including class actions and multidistrict litigation, breaches of contract, business torts, employment issues, regulatory issues, corporate governance, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution. His clients range from individuals to large companies and he has a proven track record as trusted counsel in navigating important legal matters to provide clients with beneficial outcomes that align with their business objectives.
An experienced litigator, Dane handles matters from intake and through appeal when necessary and he has served as counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in legal venues throughout the country.

Dane completed his undergraduate studies in business administration at Northwest Missouri State and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law.
In appellate proceedings, Dane draws on the experiences he gained as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Patricia Breckenridge of the Supreme Court of Missouri. He has handled appeals and writ proceedings in the Supreme Court of Missouri; the Supreme Court of Wisconsin; the Supreme Court of Nebraska; the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Circuits; the Missouri Court of Appeals; and the Texas Court of Appeals.
