Cynthia Rowe and Leslie Witterschein Explain eDiscovery Predictability in ACC Docket

August 11, 2021

Spencer Fane attorneys Cynthia Rowe and Leslie Witterschein recently published an article featured in the ACC Docket, highlighting the importance of advanced planning in eDiscovery matters.

Titled “eDiscovery Predictability in an Unpredictable World,” the article outlines best practices to lower legal spend, boost objectives, and increase predictability in eDiscovery litigation. Cynthia and Leslie emphasized that open and data-driven conversations amongst in-house and outside counsel can lead to the desired outcome.

“Many aspects of litigation are uncertain, but failing to plan ahead certainly leads to higher costs and risks,” Cynthia and Leslie explained in the article, noting that conducting an Early Case Assessment (ECA) is valuable. “ECA is a collaborative effort between in-house and outside counsel to assess the situation, outline goals, and put a tentative plan in place.”
