Cody Faulk Leads Session at Texas Public Power Association CLE

March 31, 2026

Spencer Fane attorney Cody Faulk spoke at the Texas Public Power Association’s March 10-11 Legal Seminar in San Antonio, Texas. The firm also served as a sponsor for the CLE event.

Cody led the session, The New Tariffed Reality – a look into current federal tariff policy and how it affects Texas municipally owned utilities. He examined the operational and legal consequences of the continuously shifting tariff rules as utilities navigate everything from capital projects to rate structures.

At the firm, Cody serves as Office Managing Partner for the Spencer Fane Austin office and Co-Leader of the Utilities team. In addition to these leadership roles, he represents investor and municipally owned utility clients in both routine and complicated administrative, transactional, operational, and regulatory issues, helping them capitalize on financial benefits in operations while avoiding potential crises. He specifically focuses on regulatory and enforcement proceedings for municipalities, utilities, and landowners before the Public Utility Commission of Texas, Railroad Commission of Texas, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and the State Office of Administrative Hearings.
