This three-day event brought policymakers together with utility, solar, wind, IPP, finance, and trading executives to provide maximum insight into the future of the massive ERCOT power market. Over 500 attendees gathered at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center to attend panels and presentations centered on a wide variety of pertinent topics.
Cody moderated the panel, What Will the Coming New Normal in ERCOT Look Like? The session explored what the future holds for ERCOT and how these and other factors affect the market. Topics included projected load growth, opportunities to meet demand, natural gas prices, corporate appetite for clean energy, and more.
Cathy’s panel – BTM Storage, Microgrids and Management of Retail Energy Costs – examined the changing retail market for rooftop solar and other distributed energy resources. The session answered questions such as “What are solar installers seeing in the resi market?” and “Are microgrids a good solution for vital loads?”
