Spencer Fane is pleased to announce Christine Chasse was awarded the American Bar Association (ABA) Health Law Section Diversity & Inclusion Fellowship for the 2024-2025 term. Only a maximum of five attorneys receive this leadership and career development award each year.
As part of the Fellowship program, Christine will receive guidance from a dedicated mentor, participate in Healthcare Litigation and Risk Management interest group, and engage in other networking and professional opportunities. She and her fellow awardees were formally announced this month, attended the Section’s July Annual Leadership Meeting in Denver, and will begin their terms in September 2024.
At the firm, Christine collaborates with small and large institutions in industries such as health care, finance, and education. She utilizes her extensive experience to assess and successfully resolve claims of professional liability, malpractice liability, premises liability, and wrongful death for hospital systems, providers, skilled nursing facilities, and stand-alone emergency rooms. Christine also guides her clients through cybersecurity, data privacy, and cyber incident response matters such as potential HIPAA breaches and data security incidents.
