Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Camber Jones was recently appointed Chair of the Missouri Bar’s Business/Corporate Division for the 2023-2024 bar year.
Created in 1944 by order of the Supreme Court of Missouri, The Missouri Bar is dedicated to improving the legal profession, the law, and the administration of justice for all Missourians. In her new role, Camber will oversee the organization’s Business/Corporate Division, which provides information and assistance to practitioners in anti-trust; corporate, estate planning, partnership, real estate development, taxation; commercial; and banking law and offers them opportunities to improve the law and the judicial system. Camber will also serve as a member of the Government Relations Committee and Annual Meeting Planning Committee.
At Spencer Fane, Camber utilizes experience representing creditors, debtors, and trustees in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings in multiple jurisdictions. Her work includes initiating and defending adversary proceedings, investigating and conducting large-scale claims reconciliations, negotiating settlements, and negotiating, drafting, and reviewing commercial contracts.
