Accomplished IP Litigator Joins Spencer Fane in Austin

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Darlene F. Ghavimi joined the firm’s Austin office as a partner in the Intellectual Property practice group.

Darlene represents clients in complex intellectual property (IP) litigation, including patent, copyright, and trademark matters before the International Trade Commission and federal courts across the U.S. She also handles contentious patent and trademark matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

A dedicated advisor with concentrated knowledge and litigation experience, Darlene adeptly navigates highly intricate matters across varied technologies, including semiconductors, fiber optics, cellular and wireless standards, computer software, photovoltaics, power inverters, stem cell and tissue repair, pharmaceutical compositions, mechanical devices, and medical devices.

Darlene received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, later earning her Juris Doctor at the Widener University School of Law. In addition to Texas, she is licensed to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
