Spencer Fane is thrilled to announce attorney Abena Echternach has accepted an invitation to join the prestigious Nashville Emerging Leaders (NEL) program as part of its 2024 Class.
Founded in 2002, NEL is an 11-week leadership training program dedicated to developing and molding the young emergent leaders in the Nashville community. This premier program serves as a catalyst to congregate, engage, and advance future leaders through personal development, mentorship, and access to senior leadership. Abena is one of only 30 individuals chosen from this year’s record number of applicants to participate in this year’s well-rounded and diverse class featuring top professionals from the private sector, civic and government, and nonprofit organizations.
Following completion of the program, Abena joins attorney and Spencer Fane DEI Committee Chair James Crumlin as a NEL alum.
At Spencer Fane, Abena successfully resolves transaction matters when reputation and operational continuity are threatened, achieving successful resolutions that minimize legal and financial exposure. She currently assists a diverse set of clients with real estate transactions and health law matters across a wide range of industries.
