Spencer Fane was proud to support the American Diabetes Association (ADA)’s fifth annual Kiss a Pig Gala in New Orleans as a Silver Sponsor, supporting efforts to fund diabetes research, advocacy, and education.
Held at the Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans, the event gathered community leaders, advocates, and supporters to celebrate progress in the fight against diabetes while raising critical funds for the ADA’s mission. In a fun homage to the pig’s role as the first source of insulin, guests raised more than $233,000 to potentially earn the opportunity to kiss a pig and, more importantly, advance programs and initiatives benefiting individuals and families affected by diabetes.
Spencer Fane attorneys Chris Ralston and Hunter Roser participated in the fundraiser alongside fellow attendees from across the New Orleans business and nonprofit communities. The firm was recognized among the gala’s Silver Sponsors in the Times-Picayune’s recent coverage of the event and was honored to have ADA CEO Chuck Henderson and other esteemed guests at its table. The publication also highlighted Chris Ralston’s service as chair of the ADA’s Community Leadership Board.
