Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Hunter W. Roser as an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, where he will deepen the firm’s footing in New Orleans amid continued Southern expansion.
Hunter helps clients navigate a wide variety of litigation matters, with a focus on complex financial and securities litigation, where he uses both broad financial services industry insights and a strong working knowledge of complex and often overlapping FINRA and SEC regulations to develop comprehensive and detail-oriented litigation strategies.
Backed by early experience working across several sophisticated and high-stakes matters, Hunter has notably assisted with RICO claims, usury claims, and disputes that arise under the Defense Base Act.
“Hunter joins us with a fresh perspective and talent for understanding some of the most complex and contentious disputes,” said Chris Ralston, a partner for Spencer Fane who recently established the firm’s presence in New Orleans. “His experience working through FINRA and SEC regulations will be a fantastic complement to both our broad litigation and securities-focused teams, and we look forward to seeing how his litigation practice will evolve and expand at Spencer Fane.”
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Hunter earned his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law. He is admitted to practice in both Louisiana and Florida.
Outside of private practice, Hunter serves as an advisory board member for Fostering Success, a nonprofit organization that provides strategic education and enrichment opportunities for foster children – a mission he is deeply committed to as a former foster child.
