Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Marc S. Jacobs to the firm’s Houston office as an of counsel attorney in the Real Estate Practice Group.
Jacobs guides businesses, investors, landlords, and tenants through a wide range of complex commercial real estate transactions, providing representation for matters pertaining to acquisition, disposition, leasing, capitalizing, financing, and development. Within his comprehensive practice, he boasts extensive experience forming and structuring limited partnerships and limited liability companies.
Proficient in Spanish, Jacobs serves a diverse client base in domestic transactions and, more specifically, when managing cross-border business and real estate transactions in Mexico. His decades-long track record of success includes representing one of the largest independent banks in Texas before it was sold to a multinational Spanish banking group.

Jacobs received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. He is an active member of multiple sections of the Houston Bar Association and State Bar of Texas, as well as the Texas Bar College.
