An experienced trial lawyer, Vicki represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation involving antitrust, class actions, environmental claims, contract disputes, intellectual property, product liability, trade secrets, and professional liability matters. Vicki has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

  • Drafted and negotiated with industry and state legislature to pass Oklahoma’s Conservation Easement Act; regularly advises land owners and nonprofits on its use.
  • Served as lead counsel to get Medicaid Expansion on the ballot in Oklahoma and worked to gain its passage.
  • Partnered with state legislature to pass the Oklahoma Workplace Violence Prevention Act to allow employers to seek protective orders against disgruntled former employees who threaten the workplace and former co-workers, a uniquely dangerous situation in health care.
  • Successfully defeated class action certification in a toxic tort case involving trichloroethylene (TCE).
  • Successfully negotiated a low settlement on behalf of an insurance client in defense of a bad faith claim with potential damages in excess of $15 million.
  • Successfully defeated class certification in an alleged water pollution case.
  • Obtained a defense verdict in a toxic tort and alleged “cancer” cluster case.
  • Served as co-counsel for a Fortune 500 company and successfully defeated a claim alleging personal injuries based on product liability.
