Overview

Tori Levine defends clients in complex disputes including product liability, premises liability, toxic tort, construction litigation, business and commercial disputes, insurance litigation, and noncompete and trade secrets litigation with an acute attention to detail across numerous industries.

She also has deep experience creating and implementing legal and business risk management programs for manufacturers and other businesses and has served as general counsel to two startup companies.

On a national level, Tori defends manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of a variety of products and raw materials, frequently achieving successes at trial. She was instrumental in assembling a major automobile manufacturer’s National Asbestos Trial Program and has remained on the trial team for the past 18 years.

More specifically, her wide-reaching practice includes defending consumer goods, drugs, and medical devices, including spinal fusion, cold therapy, biologic, and diet products regulated (or under proposed regulation) by the FDA; representing clients in the vaping, e-cigarette, and cannabis industries nationally on a variety of business and legal matters, including claims involving lithium-ion batteries, e-liquids, and vaping devices; defending clients in cases involving asbestos, mold, radiation, pesticides, and other chemicals and substances; defending clients in trials and appeals of professional liability claims, notably errors and omissions claims; and representing insurance brokers and agents as well as other types of insurance professionals such as MGAs, TPAs, program administrators, loss control, and risk management consultants.

Tori has served as national and regional coordinating counsel for multiple Fortune 100 clients as well as small businesses who face pattern litigation claims and has extensive experience in developing, presenting, and cross-examining scientific experts in toxic tort cases. Notably, she created and implemented medical and scientific defenses used nationally, contributing to early resolution of claims, enhanced risk management, and increased consistency across jurisdictions.
