Suzanne C. Odom
Overview
Suzanne assists clients with all aspects of commercial and real estate transactions, from initial document drafting to litigation when necessary. With a focus on strategic, timely solutions for both routine and sophisticated matters, she applies detailed knowledge at each stage of the process to achieve resolutions that meet specific client objectives.
More comprehensively, Suzanne’s daily practice includes contract drafting, review, and negotiation; real estate acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing; business formations; and routine corporate, real estate, and employment law. Impressively, she has delivered local opinions for entities ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies in connection with lending transactions and has advised out-of-state lenders regarding the nuances of New Mexico lending laws. Her litigation practice currently focuses on real property disputes, creditor disputes, commercial foreclosures, and employment disputes.
Rounding out her practice, Suzanne routinely handles licensing matters involving the Alcoholic and Beverage Control and Construction Industries Divisions as well as the Gaming Control Board of New Mexico’s Regulation and Licensing Department.
