Overview
Sam Kiehl helps physicians, hospitals, health care organizations, and other providers navigate regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters so they can deliver care, pursue growth opportunities, and achieve their organizational objectives.
Working at the intersection of health care law and business strategy, Sam advises clients on compliance with state and federal health care regulations and assists with a wide range of operational and transactional matters. His experience includes acquisitions, spin-offs, physician agreements, contracted and co-managed care arrangements, and other transactions involving health care providers and organizations. Clients rely on his practical counsel to navigate complex regulatory requirements while advancing their business goals.
Before entering private practice, Sam served as a seventh-grade social studies teacher with KIPP Tulsa and worked in higher education administration at the University of Oklahoma. Those experiences reflect his longstanding commitment to education and community engagement, which continues to inform his collaborative, client-focused approach to legal counsel.
