Overview
Richard Poll provides clients with counsel and assistance in corporate and intellectual property transactions and civil litigation in the areas of business, professional liability, intellectual property, insurance defense, and appeals in both state and federal courts. From individuals and small business to large and growing corporations, Richard maximizes value for his clients through an individualized approach to meet his clients’ goals.
Beyond civil litigation, Richard has broad legal experience in areas such as corporate and securities law, sports law, intellectual property, and criminal law. He was honored to intern with the Hon. David R. Hamilton where he gained a valuable behind-the-bench perspective that still benefits those he represents in and out of court.
Richard received his undergraduate degree in International Studies from Utah State University and earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he logged the highest pro bono hours in his class, served as a national Moot Court team member, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Leadership and Law.
