Nathan Skeen
Overview
Nathan Skeen is a trial attorney who represents and advises employers, transportation companies, and governmental entities with complex problems, including regulatory compliance, covenants not to compete, contract formation and enforcement, and risk management issues.
He strives to solve the intricate issues his clients face in an effective and efficient manner. When disputes cannot be resolved outside the courtroom, he applies his extensive litigation experience, defending clients throughout all stages of litigation, including trial, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
Nate also represents transportation companies, governmental entities, and app-based delivery platforms in high-stakes catastrophic injury and fatality cases. Among the notable transportation industry clients, he has represented are five of the world’s six largest transportation and logistics companies. Nate is also a member of the highly selective Trucking Industry Defense Association, a testament to his expertise and dedication.
Defending clients in federal and state jury trials involving multimillion-dollar claims, Nate has regularly appeared and successfully argued before the Utah Supreme Court, Utah Court of Appeals, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
An active attorney beyond his practice, Nate is a frequent speaker and author on a wide range of issues relating to legal work in his specialty areas.
