Overview

Matt David helps large technology companies navigate the intricacies of intellectual property litigation, skillfully applying his background in engineering and as a U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) examiner to address patent applications with hands-on intel and exceptional creativity. Matt litigates, prepares, and prosecutes patents primarily in the computer, electrical, and mechanical arts. He also has experience with post-grant proceedings at the USPTO.

Prior to entering private practice, Matt spent over a decade as a primary examiner and examination specialist at the USPTO, where he reviewed many of the highest profile patent applications, focusing on the areas of computer architecture, communication protocols, and power management. Impressively, Matt previously co-founded a technology startup and established both an automotive parts fabrication business and a powder coating service; all testaments to his dynamic strengths sustained by boundless ambition which he applies to his current practice.
