John Funk helps financial institutions, businesses, and real estate stakeholders structure transactions, manage risk, and achieve their strategic objectives.

His practice focuses on commercial lending, real estate, acquisitions, and other business transactions. John has substantial experience representing financial institutions in a wide range of lending matters, including financing related to income-producing properties, real estate development and construction projects, health care facilities and businesses, agricultural operations, asset-based lending, and oil and gas assets. Clients rely on his practical approach to structuring and closing complex transactions while addressing business and legal considerations.

In addition to his lending practice, John regularly represents clients in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters. His broad transactional experience allows him to provide strategic guidance across the full life cycle of a transaction, from initial planning and negotiation through closing and post-closing matters.

John is also a frequent speaker on legal issues affecting business transactions and commercial lending, sharing insights with professional organizations and industry audiences.
