Overview

Jessica Brigman advises clients on all aspects of business, from initial formation and structuring, ongoing maintenance, and business-to-business transactions to ongoing growth strategies and long-term compliance matters. She has a vast background in contract drafting and negotiation, including commercial contracts such as employment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, master services agreements, and terms and conditions. Her wholistic practice also encompasses trust and estate planning with a particular focus on asset preservation within multigenerational family businesses, with a specific focus on family farms.

Throughout her work with entrepreneurs, established business owners, and individuals and families looking to preserve personal and business assets, Jessica works to facilitate efficient exchanges without compromising longstanding values and knowledge. She consistently navigates sensitive family and business dynamics with poise and practical risk management strategies, with a goal of balancing risk within the client’s specific risk tolerance guidelines.

Having previously served as in-house counsel to a large national technology company, Jessica’s experience enables her to adapt when dealing with complex matters and shifting priorities. In her current practice, she helps a variety of companies adhere to the ever-changing laws governing online information privacy and data security, including driving online privacy notices and advising on best practices for data privacy and cybersecurity.
