Jedidiah Dooley brings nearly 20 years of litigation experience to partner with clients to achieve their goals when disputes arise – whether that be through a negotiated settlement or taking matters all the way through trial.

Jed has assisted clients from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses on a wide variety of complex business disputes. His experience includes partner / shareholder disputes, commercial lease disputes, trade secret and brand protection claims, as well as licensing and contract disputes. Jed also regularly provides advice and counsel regarding e-discovery obligations and strategies.

  • Successfully defended a client against a $5 million fraud claim in Delaware Chancery Court, and obtained findings that plaintiff spoliated evidence, acted in bad faith, and brought frivolous claims. The court originally dismissed the case and later awarded $2.3 million of attorney fees and costs to defendants.
  • Successfully defended a commercial real estate developer against allegations of fraud and breach of contract in a six-week jury trial in Shasta County.
  • Successfully defended a San Francisco startup company in a complex unlawful detainer trial involving zoning disputes.
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of corporate defendant in ERISA misappropriation case.
  • Successfully resolved a multimillion-dollar brokerage commission claim in Alameda County against Fortune 500 developer.
  • Successfully resolved the contentious buyout of minority shareholder in case involving claims of misappropriation of trade secrets and breaches of fiduciary duty.
  • Successfully represented a public-traded semiconductor company and several individuals against multimillion-dollar claim stemming from alleged poaching of employees.
