Jayme Partridge successfully melds a technical engineering background with proven trial advocacy skills to provide unique insight into her clients’ complex intellectual property litigation, resolving disputes in a manner that aligns with business objectives.
With a specific focus on patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation matters, Jayme brings years of experience arguing cases in front of judges, juries, and mediators. She has successfully tried high-profile competitor-to-competitor disputes for global companies and frequently applies her deep industry knowledge and experience to litigating cases involving oil and gas products and services.
Jayme’s technology experience includes computer hardware and software, fiber optics, chemical processes, ethylene oxide catalysis, olefin catalysis, filtering technologies, and characterization of polyolefin molecules. It also encompasses motor oil additives, hydraulic fracturing of hydrocarbon formations, downhole tools for oil and gas wells, offshore drilling rigs, and drill bits.
With significant experience litigating complex commercial disputes, Jayme excels in cases alleging patent infringement, seeking insurance coverage for patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and copyright infringement. She has also represented clients in matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, product liability, toxic tort, tortious interference, negligence, and violation of environmental laws.
Before entering the legal profession, Jayme worked as a licensed engineer for six years. In addition to practicing with law firms of various sizes, she spent time as in-house litigation counsel for a multinational integrated oil and gas company.
