Overview

Alan Wooten helps businesses, health care providers, professionals, and organizations resolve disputes and manage legal risks in a manner that maintains a focus on operations and services while protecting the overall interests of the involved client.

For more than 40 years, Alan has associated experience in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including professional liability claims, employment discrimination disputes, commercial litigation, First Amendment matters, and other complex business disputes. His clients include hospitals, medical professionals, architects, engineers, accountants, publicly traded companies, and small businesses.

Alan continues to build upon a trusted reputation for strategic advocacy and a practical approach to resolving high-stakes legal challenges.

In addition to his litigation practice, Alan has served as outside general counsel to a hospital, advising on employment matters, regulatory compliance, contracts, and other operational issues. This experience provides valuable insight into the legal and business considerations organizations face and informs his practical, solutions-oriented counsel.

Alan also maintains an active mediation practice involving commercial litigation, employment law, health care matters, insurance disputes, medical malpractice claims, professional liability matters, personal injury cases, and other civil disputes.
