Evan C. Singleton

Overview
Evan Singleton advises clients on all aspects of real estate transactions and development, from initial site acquisition through entitlements, land use permitting, and build-out. He negotiates and drafts purchase and sale agreements, easements, restrictive covenants, declarations and maintenance agreements, leases, financing documents, and construction contracts. His experience representing purchasers, sellers, developers, and utilities enables him to anticipate roadblocks and structure practical solutions to keep projects on track.
In addition to his transactional work, Evan counsels clients on environmental issues that often intersect with real estate projects. He assists with environmental due diligence, brownfield redevelopment, remediation, environmental cost recovery, stormwater and wetlands permitting, and regulatory compliance under federal, state, and local environmental programs. He also helps clients navigate enforcement actions, negotiate agency settlements, and implement proactive compliance measures designed to mitigate risk during project development and long-term operations.
