Spencer Fane was pleased to once again sponsor ACC Colorado’s annual Ethics Day on December 5 in Denver. Attorney Troy Rackham presented at the event.
The all-day program provided informative sessions that fulfilled professional responsibility CLE requirements for attendees, as well as providing food and beverages. Troy led the presentation, Ethical Considerations Surrounding Zealous Advocacy and Litigation Behavior in Dealing with Opposing Parties, which explored the delicate balance attorneys must strike between passionately representing clients and maintaining professional integrity. He covered the ethical boundaries that govern courtroom conduct, negotiation tactics, and interactions with opposing counsel and provided realistic scenarios where the line between advocacy and misconduct often blurs.
At the firm, Troy defends hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and other health care organizations in a wide variety of matters. He also counsels health care providers and attorneys on regulatory, employment, and ethics matters.
