Spencer Fane Maintains Pace as Fastest-Growing Law Firm in U.S.
As featured by The American Lawyer’s 2024 AmLaw 200 coverage, Spencer Fane maintained its position as having the largest percentage revenue increase of any firm on the annual AmLaw 100 and 200 ranking since the firm joined the listing six years ago.
In releasing the AmLaw 200, The American Lawyer highlighted Spencer Fane as a “Top Performer” for being one of the nation’s leaders in year-over-year revenue growth. Spencer Fane improved its position to #142 on the recently released AmLaw 200 as the firm continues a trajectory of double-digit revenue growth each year since joining the ranking. Spencer Fane has climbed 46 spots since first appearing on the AmLaw 200, which represents a 139 percent increase in revenue over the same period.
Shortlisted by The American Lawyer as one of eight candidates for Law Firm of the Year in 2023, Spencer Fane has been recognized for growing not for “growth’s sake,” but in a manner that protects its commitment to culture and core values of collaboration, humility, inclusivity and a fierce resolve to win. The result has made possible the firm’s ability to lead on another important metric – attrition – in which Spencer Fane maintains a 4% turnover rate compared to an industry average of 20-25%.
The American Lawyer also recently spotlighted Spencer Fane for its entry into California, Utah, and Washington, D.C., and its major movement in the lateral recruitment sphere. Spencer Fane has grown its presence into 26 markets across the nation.
