The Spencer Fane Women in Business book club was recently featured in The Oklahoman. The article explains how the group brought together colleagues from different industries to discuss common goals and struggles.
The book, “Girl, Stop Apologizing” by author Rachel Hollis, which focuses on work-life balance and embracing achievements, was the subject of a recent meeting of the club.
Spencer Fane attorney Courtney Davis Powell moderated the session. “We’re taught that it’s unladylike to brag on ourselves,” Courtney explained in the article. “But men have no problem doing it.”
