Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome David Kitchin to the firm’s Nashville office as an associate in the Corporate and Business Transactions Practice Group.
David provides strategic legal counsel to clients – including private equity funds and their portfolio companies – involved in a variety of complex corporate transactions, with a specific focus on mergers and acquisitions. He also provides outside general counsel services to startup companies, venture capital firms, and high-net-worth individuals that invest in high-growth companies.

David is heavily involved in multiple community initiatives, including The Aloe Family and The Phoenix Club of Nashville, nonprofits which provide critical services and support to individuals, particularly young people and children, facing poverty and other crises in Middle Tennessee.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University, David obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
