Spencer Fane attorneys Ed Burdzinski and Shawn Tuma presented at the 2023 Legal Conference, an annual event hosted by the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel (SWABC) and the Texas Bankers Association, September 27-29 in Denver. Ed also served as Chairman of the Conference Committee and was elected to SWABC leadership during the event.
On September 27, Shawn led a cybersecurity session and Ed was elected 2023-24 President of SWABC during the organization’s Membership Meeting. The following day, Ed led the presentation, Beneficial Ownership Rules Update.
Held at the Magnolia Hotel, the Legal Conference is an annual event organized by and for attorneys who represent financial service providers and banks. Attendees have the opportunity to network and attend MCLE and CPE sessions focused on timely banking industry issues.
