Spencer Fane was thrilled to sponsor the 2024 Band of Angels Heart Strings Gala, a music-centered event featuring performances by 20 talented students, dinner and cocktails, dancing, and a silent auction, all benefiting Band of Angels, a Kansas City-based nonprofit dedicated to connecting students in need with opportunities in music.
The sold-out Heart Strings Gala took place on Saturday, February 3, and brought together community leaders, students, families, and other supporters to celebrate the transformative power of music. Band of Angels was the recipient of the 2023-2025 Spencer Fane Charitable Giving Program announced at last year’s Heart Strings Gala. The firm’s arts-focused initiative financially supports local nonprofit organizations with a $50,000 grant while fostering long-standing community relationships.
The donation and firmwide support continue to help Band of Angels supply band and orchestra instruments and offer full music camp scholarships to underserved students in over 60 area school districts.
