Power Poll members gathered to witness a meaningful panel discussion on gun control and the upcoming special legislative session in Tennessee dedicated to the issue. WKRN Channel 2 anchor Bob Mueller moderated the panel, which featured Voices for a Safer Tennessee board member Todd Cruse, and Tennessee Lookout reporter Sam Stockard. Metro Nashville Chief of Police John Drake, the keynote speaker for the 2023 Spencer Fane Juneteenth event, also served as a panelist. The group explored the current gun violence level, possible solutions, and the likelihood of the legislative session achieving significant results.
