Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Alexander H. (Alex) Ramon to the firm’s San Jose, California, office as a senior associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
Alex helps clients proactively navigate complex civil litigation spanning general business, commercial real estate, employment, and trade secrets as well as contractual disputes, judgment enforcement, and professional liability matters. Well-versed in all stages of a dispute, his agile, risk-sensitive strategies adapt to clients’ specific goals and objectives as cases progress for consistently favorable outcomes.
Working within Silicon Valley, Alex has gained diverse client and industry exposure, helping resolve complex, high-value disputes at large, established companies and playing a critical role in early legal decision-making for startup ventures.
“Alex joins our growing San Jose team with a broad scope of experience that will allow him to collaborate effectively across our firm’s strong, cross-office litigation group,” said Karen McCay, office managing partner for Spencer Fane in San Jose and Santa Monica. “In addition, he is a fantastic complement to our dynamic and inclusive company culture that continues to elevate our professional experience and exceptional client service.”
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Occidental College, Alex earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. He is admitted to practice in both California and New York.
Beyond private practice, Alex is involved in multiple legal spheres and serves as a commissioner for Alameda County’s Elections Commission and on the Board of Trustees for Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana, a contemporary arts space that features the Chicano / Latino experience and prioritizes an inclusive civic dialogue through its exhibits.
