Each of these new attorneys bring strong experience and skill in their practice areas, and each will enhance our firm’s unique culture. We look forward to their contributions.”

About the attorneys

Michelle Berger combines her legal and engineering education and experience to provide clients with practical and effective solutions to help keep highly technical and complex construction and real estate development projects on schedule and on budget. She has been involved in the construction industry for more than 25 years and focuses her practice on all aspects of construction and land use law.

In addition, Berger is a civil engineer and previously spent time as general counsel for a midsize construction contractor, giving her unique insight into the issues facing her clients. In that role, she managed litigation using outside counsel and engineering experts, among many other duties.

Berger earned her undergraduate degree in civil engineering from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and later earned a Juris Doctor and LLM in taxation from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.

Matt Morrison advises and represents employers on the full spectrum of critical labor and employment matters, with experience handling matters ranging from single-plaintiff actions to collective and class action lawsuits in federal and state courts. He defends employers in cases arising under Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other employment statutes. He prioritizes assisting clients in the creation of effective policies and best practices and utilizes early motions to achieve summary judgment or dismissal when labor and employment claims arise.

When litigation does arise, Morrison has an established track record of successfully resolving both trials and appeals for clients and routinely represents employers before the federal Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission and state-plan occupational safety and health boards. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School.

Valentine Uduebor focuses his practice on helping clients through insurance and premises liability litigation, construction litigation and other civil matters. He also previously served as an in-house trial attorney for a Fortune 500 insurance company, where he gained extensive experience and unique insight into the full range of civil litigation processes. He has successfully litigated more than 50 jury trials and has obtained numerous defense verdicts as lead counsel.

Uduebor completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas and later earned his Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, where he was a Notes Editor of the Business Law Review and a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team.
