Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Andrew J. McElmeel joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group as an associate in the firm’s Omaha office.
McElmeel works to simplify complicated matters for individuals, businesses, and financial institutions by providing astute legal support in complex litigation processes, including commercial litigation, real estate litigation, banking and financial services litigation, and bankruptcy litigation. He serves as a thoughtful and aggressive advocate with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes that align with a client’s business goals and objectives. Notably, McElmeel brings specific experience in the financial services industry.

Andrew completed his undergraduate studies in finance at Iowa State University, where he took part in the FDIC’s Financial Management Scholars Program. This internship allowed him to work directly with experienced employees to evaluate bank operations, business planning, and risk management strategies. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law.
